Did you know that there are 18 species of bat in the UK?

The Friends of Brislington Brook are very excited to announce we will be hosting a FREE evening bat walk through Nightingale Valley / St Annes Woods on the 22 September 2017.

Come and find out more about these remarkable little creatures on a guided walk with Avon Bat Group expert David Brown.

This is a FREE community event, funded using our 4th place Airbus Community Award money, but we always welcome any donations to be able to run similar future events.

Places are limited, and need to be booked in advance by emailing info.fobb@gmail.com

There is no minimum or maximum age limit for this event, but please consider ability limits before booking a place. The walk will be at dusk with minimal light on moderately rough ground. Please ensure you are a competent walker, not afraid of the dark and wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Please do not bring any pets or pushchairs (which may cause hazards in the dark). Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. If you want to bring young children we would encourage you to use a backpack or sling to carry them along the walk. If you have any questions please do ask.

The start time and meeting point will then be confirmed via email before the 22nd September. Priority given to those who have volunteered for FoBB, attended or supported FoBB meetings, or collected Evening Post Airbus Community Award tokens for us.

If you have a place confirmed and fail to attend on the night, without letting us know, you may not be offered a place in the future.
