On Saturday 23 July 2016 the Friends of Brislington Brook hosted their annual St Anne’s Day medieval pageant through Nightingale Valley and St Anne’s Woods.

Prior to commencing the pageant, The Kings Arms, Brislington, kicked off the celebrations with a pre-pageant medieval banquet of bacon sandwiches.

This year the pageant was facilitated by fantastic storyteller, Deb Cordon, and medieval musicians, Bygonz, who lead the way from Brislington Village, alongside the Brislington Brook, through Nightingale Valley and St Anne’s Wood to the Holy Well of St Anne’s.
