Owl Prowls along Brislington Brook.

27 January 2017: First Owl Prowl in Nightingale Valley.

Our first owl prowl event was fully booked on the same night details were published welcoming people to book their place. The evening was a huge success with many people from the local community being able to see owls up close thanks to Paul Golledge and David Knowles from the Hawk and Owl Trust bringing along several live owls. One the group entered the Nightingale Valley woodland several owls were heard and even seen flying over head in the meadow area. Thanks to the very generous donations of those who attended the Friends of Brislington Brook were able to run a second event the following Friday for all those on the waiting list.

Our second owl prowl event was another great success for the Friends of Brislington Brook. Paul Golledge and David Knowles from the Hawk and Owl Trust brought some lovely live owls to show the group and then we were able to see 2/3 wild owls flying overhead. Thanks to the very generous donations of those who attended the event the group will be able to run other owl prowl event in 2018.
